Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. It provides opportunities for over 4 million Europeans to study, train, and gain experience abroad.
Set to last until 2020, Erasmus+ doesn't just have opportunities for students, but also for a wide variety of individuals and organisations.

The Federal Government's Child and Youth Plan from the Federal Ministry for Families, Senior Citizens, Women and Youths provides funds for political and cultural child- and youth work in Germany.

The State Chancellery of Hesse maintains 6 partnerships with regions and provinces in other countries. The goal of these regional partnerships is the promotion and funding of exchange and cooperation in different areas.
For EYW the State Chancellery funds partner organizations and young people from the partner regions of Emilia Romagna (Italy) and Wielkopolska (Poland).
